This is a 5-Day daily yoga practice wherein you can join either live or recorded. You do not need to know anything about yoga, nor you do not need to have experience. A beginner’s mind and a commitment to practice daily is what will be asked to begin this journey. So, are you willing to do start anew?
What is Start Anew?
Start Anew is the act of beginning again through yoga. Here are what to expect.
The class is mainly yoga. The type of yoga is Vinyasa. Vinyasa yoga includes breathing, meditation, yoga poses, warm up, cool down and rest.
The class is online, via Zoom and will last for 60 to 90 minutes.
Things to Prepare
While Vinyasa is usually slow and gentle, some poses may need focus and attention, and may be challenging at first.
Have a yoga mat. Add pillows if you do not have yoga blocks, but they are optional.
What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothes where you can sweat with during the practice.
Why this is right for you
Here are reasons why Start Anew is the right program for you.
You want to move, but you do not know how and where to start.
Workouts are too intimidating and you just wanted to move. And yoga feels like a good way to start.
“I want to start my day with a movement, to prepare my day.”
You want a good stretch, or maybe strengthen your muscles.
“I want a relatable teacher, someone who I can follow.”
There are teachers whose personalities are quite unapproachable. I want to be seen and heard.
This May Not Be For You If…
Here are some things why this may not work for you.
I Don’t Have Time
If you are already busy and you don’t want to disturb your time, then this may not be for you.
I Don’t Like Yoga
You don’t need to like yoga to start yoga. But if you are firm with this statement, thank you for reaching this part.
I want face to face classes.
This is an online class format via Zoom. You may join me in my other classes that are held in a studio.
